July 2010 - This project is still ongoing as Neesha and Jackson are still looking for their forever homes, all other pups have been adopted!

Neesha and Jackson, were born under extremely scary circumstances. Their mother gave birth to them in a den she dug under a stack of old privacy fence sections that were stacked up at the edge of the woods.  Connie was only able to save them after coyotes took the mother and two other siblings. The mother looked to be part Corgi. She would love for these two to be adopted together.

The New Year came and with it 4 more puppies were abandoned in Connie's driveway. They were left in the freezing cold in a cardboard box. They are Breeze, Josephine, Noah & Rascal and look to be about 16 weeks old now. They have been vetted, microchipped and neutered/spayed and, of course, they are adorable.

Rascal is a rascal. He likes to chew and wrestle and jump. His tail is shorter than his siblings, maybe he makes up for it with attitude.

Noah is so very laid back and gentle. He is a packrat though. It’s so funny to watch him. He runs to get a shoe and puts it in his cubby hole, then he’s off again for a sock, shirt, towel and just keeps on dragging anything I’ve left out within his reach.

Josephine “Josie” is so sweet. She loves to be picked up and snuggle against your chest and lay her head against your neck.
bree.jpg
Breeze “Bree” is sneaky. When it’s time to go out for the day, she will run hide under the bed. She’s very perky and playful. She loves to stretch out and let you give her a tummy rub.

Recently, Connie was able to help two more puppies who were abandoned at her neighbor's home.  OOTW put out a plea for a foster home and Julie & Joe came to the rescue!  They are fostering these two pups who are a small breed mix. They have been named Trevor and Travis. They are precious and have been recently posted for adoption.
